6th Geoform Series 2009
The "Geoform" works are made by layering intensely pigmented plaster over top of one another. By doing this the work begins to reference geological phenomenon while at the same time other synthetic objects like candy, cake, and plastic toys. This combination of artifice and phenomenon is emblematic of the modern juxtaposition of naturally created and man-made objects.
