Portfolio > ANU

In 2013, I was able to participate in a two and a half month residency at the Australia National University. The result of my stay was a body of work that consisted of drawings, sculptures, and videos, which reflected my time in Australia. While I was there, I became interested in the idea of place, in particular, the "red center" of Australia and how it informed my understanding of the ‘natural’ and cultural landscape. The images in this portfolio are some of the sculptures I created while in residence at ANU. These works were in an exhibition titled "from out of place...".
