Swindler / McFalls Collaborations
I have been collaborating with Jon Swindler since 2015, and we have produced numerous exhibits. We employ an interdisciplinary approach to our art making while attempting to blur the boundaries between printmaking and sculptural installation. In many of these exhibitions, remnants from the previous shows are combined with elements from our individual studio practice. These combinations often reveal themselves as massive, composed piles of art material that serve as both repository and resource for an installation. Previous manifestations of these piles have consisted of printed matter that we create in Jon's studio and cast-off materials from our respective studio practices, as well as found discarded elements from various art-making facilities.
