Student Art Work > Sculpture Advance Methods

The emphasis of this course is on individual development of expression in sculpture. In this course, students begin to explore an understanding of diverse contemporary sculpture concerns. Students are required to think critically to solve technical and conceptual problems as well as develop a body (6 or more pieces) of thematically related sculptures. Students write artist and project statements, as well as write a research paper. Students have the option to focus on materials and/or a concept during the entirety of the semester.
